Mark Mandell Receives Lifetime Achievement Award
Attorney Mark Mandell was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Rhode Island Association for Justice (RIAJ) on October 14th.
Attorney Mandell began his legal career in 1974, upon graduating from Georgetown University Law Center. Over the course of more than 45 years, he has built a reputation as one of the most distinguished and respected lawyers in Rhode Island. He has won more million-dollar and multi-million dollar verdicts and judgments than any other lawyer in Rhode Island’s history.
Mark is a Triple Board Certified attorney. He is Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification, Board Certified as an expert in medical negligence litigation by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys, and Board Certified in Civil Pretrial Practice by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification.
Mark is a member of the prestigious Inner Circle of Advocates, an invitation-only group limited to only the 100 best trial lawyers in the country. He has served as President of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Roscoe Pound Institute of Civil Justice, the Rhode Island Bar Association and the Rhode Island Trial Lawyers Association.
In addition to his recent Lifetime Achievement Award, Attorney Mark Mandell has been previously honored with numerous awards, including:

2003- “Harry M. Philo Award” in 2003 from the Association of Trial Lawyers of America
1999- “Lawyer of the Year Award” from the Melvin Belli National Society
1998- “Citizen of the Year Award” from the Rhode Island Trial Lawyers Association
1987- “Rhode Island Jewish Citizen of the Year Award” from the Jewish Community Center of Rhode Island
1984- “Merrill L. Hassenfeld Leadership in Community Service Award” from the Jewish Federation of Rhode Island
