Santanna Rocha
Attorney Santanna Rocha graduated from Providence College (2020), the University of Connecticut School of Social Work (2023), and the University of Connecticut School of Law (2023), where she also earned a certificate in Human Rights Law. During law school, she was active in several affinity groups, served in student government, participated on the educational policy committee, and held an officer position on the executive board of the Mock Trial Society. She competed in multiple national mock trial tournaments, where her team won a national championship and she received the award for Best Overall Advocate. Santanna also worked as a research assistant to her criminal procedure professor during her 2L summer.
Before joining the firm—and while still in law school—Santanna worked as a law clerk for another Rhode Island law firm, assisting with commercial litigation, regulatory compliance, alternative dispute resolution, and legislative advocacy. She later served as a two-term Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Justice Melissa A. Long of the Rhode Island Supreme Court.
Attorney Rocha is admitted to practice in the state courts of Massachusetts and is currently pending admission to the Rhode Island Bar.
Santanna is actively involved in her community. She serves on the Board of Trustees at Providence Country Day School, a private college-preparatory school in East Providence, Rhode Island, and is a member of the Rhode Island Black Business Association. She looks forward to joining additional organizations within the Rhode Island legal community once her licensure becomes official.
