Putting Our Best Foot Forward To Support MADD
On Saturday, June 3rd, Mandell, Boisclair & Mandell, Ltd gathered at Warwick Park to take part in 2017’s Walk Like MADD — a national event aimed at curbing the problem of drunk driving in our community.
Ultimately, the event was a resounding success as 22 teams and 220 participants tackled the 5k walk in stride — raising $32,364 for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and surpassing the event’s initial goal of $30,000. Mandell, Boisclair & Mandell, Ltd was proud to be part of such a great event.
Team captain, Zachary Mandell, who serves on the board of directors for the Rhode Island local chapter of MADD, would like to specially thank all of the donors and participants for their efforts. Without such tremendous support, events like Walk Like MADD would not be able to occur.
MADD is has been very proactive in the fight to eliminate drunk driving on a national and state level since their inception in 1980. You can learn more about these ongoing goals at www.madd.org.
