SHAKE A LEG / SAIL TO PREVAIL
The attorneys at Mandell, Boisclair, & Mandell, Ltd, are proud to support the Sail to Prevail program. Sail to Prevail is a nonprofit organization that offers a complete therapeutic sailing experience for individuals with disabilities. Each summer, more than 1000 disabled children and adults explore the open water on a fleet of specially adapted 20-foot sailboats. From the fully accessible sailing facility at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island, the fleet is available for recreational, instructional, and competitive sailing.
The Sail to Prevail program is designed to encourage and empower individuals with disabilities to become active participants in sailing. Since it first set sail, the Sail to Prevail program has improved the lives of more than 21,000 participants through therapeutic sailing.
There are programs designed specifically for children and adults living with:
- Physical disabilities
- Intellectual disabilities
- PTSD
- Cancer
- Emotional disabilities
- Epilepsy
- Life-threatening medical conditions
