Mark J. Katzman
Mark J. Katzman R.N., M.S. is a nurse legal consultant who puts his decades of experience in the medical field to work reviewing, interpreting and analyzing medical records in the firm’s medical-related cases. He is a liaison with attorneys, experts, physicians, and clients.
Mark is skilled in evaluation of cases involving all areas of medicine, and specializes in assessment of internal medicine, cardiac care, complex injuries and nursing home care cases. With his strong educational and experiential background, he is qualified to assess adherence to standards and guidelines of healthcare practice.
Prior to joining the firm in 1991, Mark was an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Boston University and Colby-Sawyer College in New Hampshire. Earlier, he served as the Critical Care Unit Educator and an ICU Charge Nurse in the Coronary Intensive Care Unit in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Mark earned his Master’s Degree in Nursing (with a focus on education) from Boston University, and his Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Rhode Island School of Nursing. He is an elected member of Sigma Theta Tau – The National Honor Association of Nursing.
